• Postcode or location data — optionally, when you subscribe or search, so we can show deals near you.
• Restaurant details — if you submit a restaurant or deal via our portal.
• Usage and analytics data — how you interact with the site (pages viewed, clicks, and anonymised session activity), collected via Microsoft Clarity (see section 3).
• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe; we do not store card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To send you restaurant deal alerts and our weekly digest (with your consent).
• To show you deals relevant to your area.
• To operate, maintain and improve the site.
• To respond to enquiries, reports and restaurant submissions.
• To process payments for restaurant listings.

Our lawful bases are consent (for marketing emails and non-essential cookies), legitimate interests (operating and improving the site), and contract (where you list a restaurant with us).

3. How We Use Cookies and Tracking

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. Clarity uses cookies and similar technologies and may capture anonymised session recordings — a playback of interactions such as mouse movements, scrolls, clicks and page navigation. This data is aggregated and used to diagnose usability issues and improve the site; it is not used to identify you personally. Microsoft processes this data in accordance with its own privacy terms.

We also use essential cookies required for the site to function. Non-essential analytics cookies (including Clarity) are only set after you accept our cookie notice. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies in your browser.

4. Who We Share Data With

We use trusted third-party processors to run our service:

• Supabase — database and storage of subscriber and site data.
• Resend — sending our emails.
• Vercel — website hosting.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Microsoft Clarity — analytics and session recording.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

5. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as you remain subscribed or as needed to provide our services. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, after which we remove you from our mailing list. You may request full deletion of your data at any time (see section 7).

6. Marketing Emails

When you sign up, you consent to receive deal alerts and our weekly digest. Every email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time with no impact on your use of the site.

7. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent to marketing at any time.
• Object to or restrict processing.
• Request a copy of your data (data portability).
